๐ Installation
Install the Gleap ReactNative SDK throughnpm .
sync your gradle project.
Install native dependencies for iOS:
Open your /ios folder and run pod install.
The iOS SDK requires iOS 15.0 or later and React Native 0.75 or later (Expo SDK 52 or later). pod install adds the Gleap iOS SDK as a Swift package to the Pods project through React Nativeโs spm_dependency, and Xcode resolves it on the next build. You donโt add the package to your app yourself; your Podfile only needs to call react_native_post_install in its post_install hook, as the React Native and Expo templates do.
pod install may warn that a Swift package with static linking โmight cause linker errorsโ. You can ignore it: the SDK builds with the default static linkage as well as with USE_FRAMEWORKS=dynamic.๐ทโโ๏ธ Initialize the SDK
Open your preferred development tool and add the following to your index.js.๐ Data region
Gleap stores and processes your data in the region you selected at signup: EU (default) or US. If your project lives in the US region, select the region before initializing the SDK (requires SDK v18.0.0 or newer). EU projects donโt need this call.๐จ Troubleshooting Android
Google Play will soon require that apps target API level 31 or higher. This is
required for new apps from August 2022, and for updates to existing apps from
