Gleap automatically attaches environment data, such as the device model, the OS version and the battery level, to every ticket and conversation. Your team sees it in the Env data tab of a ticket in the dashboard. You can leave out individual fields or turn off environment data entirely. Both settings can be changed at any time, before or after initializing the SDK, and apply to the next ticket.

Ignore individual fields

Pass the keys of the fields you want to leave out. They are removed before a ticket or conversation leaves the device. Keys must match exactly and are case-sensitive. See Collected fields for all keys.
Each call replaces the previous list. Pass an empty propsToIgnore array to send all fields again.

Disable environment data

Stop collecting environment data altogether. The SDK then gathers no environment data, and tickets arrive with an empty Env data tab. Pass disableEnvData: false to turn it back on.

Capacitor apps collect the fields of the platform they run on:

Exclude environment data per form

The Exclude data → Env data switch of a form in the Gleap dashboard keeps working in addition to these methods. It removes the environment data from every ticket submitted through that form.
