# Refresh a record summary

`POST https://api.gleap.io/v3/records/{recordType}/{recordId}/summary/refresh`

Regenerates the summary, bypassing the staleness cooldown. Rate limited to once a minute per record — the cooldown is what bounds automatic spend, so the manual path needs its own floor or it becomes the way around it.
