# Was this written by Gleap's AI?

`POST https://api.gleap.io/v3/ai-provenance/verify`

Checks whether a message was written by Gleap's AI (Kai) for a workspace that enforces the EU AI Act. Answers only yes or no and the day; never the message, the workspace or the conversation. Texts under 20 characters always answer no.

## Request body (`application/json`, required)

- `text` (string, required): The message text as received (email body, chat or WhatsApp message).
