# Delete a message

`DELETE https://api.gleap.io/v3/messages/{messageId}`

Permanently deletes a message from a ticket, together with its thread replies; this cannot be undone. No webhook or event is sent, and the ticket's `updatedAt` does not change.

## Authorization
