# Troubleshooting

Resolve Android setup and gesture-permission problems when updating the Gleap SDK.

Use the current Android SDK setup when adding or updating Gleap. Older integrations can still reference retired repositories or old native dependency overrides.

## Screenshot gesture

If the screenshot gesture opens the widget when other media is saved, check the image-access permissions required by your Android version and SDK integration. You can turn the gesture off under Settings → Widget → Look → Launcher → Other ways to open.

## Repository or dependency resolution errors

If a Gradle error names a retired Bintray repository, replace Gleap’s old repository and dependency configuration with the Maven Central setup in the current Android guide. Use the SDK version appropriate to your integration, then sync Gradle and rebuild.

When using a React Native, Flutter or Capacitor wrapper, follow that wrapper’s setup and let it supply its matching native Gleap dependency. Remove an older manual override only after checking the wrapper’s current dependency configuration.

The former Android API-30 workaround and old pinned SDK example are no longer part of current setup. Consult the platform guide for supported versions and permissions.
