# iOS SDK: Widget control

> Open and close the Gleap widget programmatically with the Gleap iOS SDK. Follow the integration code examples.

In some situations you might want to take full control over showing the Gleap widget. This can be achieved with the following method.

### Open the Gleap widget

```swift theme={null}
Gleap.open()
```

This method opens the Gleap widget and shows the feedback menu options.

### Close the Gleap widget

```swift theme={null}
Gleap.close()
```

This method closes the Gleap widget.

### Widget open status

It's possible to request the widget open status with the following method.

```swift theme={null}
Gleap.isOpened()
```
